Taconic Shave's Urban Woods Shave Cream creates a lather that is rich, slick, luxurious and extremely long lasting. This product uses natural ingredients and is made in the USA by our artisan soap makers. Our cream can be used with a brush (recommended) or brushless. Either will deliver a fabulous shave. Highly concentrated, one container will last for several months.

Directions: For Brush Application (recommended method) - Allow your brush to absorb hot water. Gently shake out excess water and add a nickel sized amount of cream to brush tips. Massage into beard with circular motion until a rich lather is produced. For Brushless Application - Using your fingertips, remove a nickel sized amount of shave cream, add warm water, massage onto shave area for 60 seconds or until a rich lather is produced (add more water as needed).

Urban Woods Shave Cream
This is the best shave cream I have found in decades. The fragrance is beautiful, and the cream softens my stubble so that shaving is now a pleasure, instead of a chore. Highly recommended.

Smooth lather, great smell
Since trying my first Taconic Urban Woods product, I have become really hooked on the wonderful fragrance: earthy, yet no musk; woodsy, yet nothing bumpkin. With a slight hint of smoke, its name fits it perfectly.

Leaves your skin moisturized
I don't use a brush, but still, about a nickel size in your hand lathers up nice and covers the whole face. Nice lather, smooth glide of the blade, rinses clean. Great clean smell and it rinses easy off your face and leaves your skin moisturized.

Super slick
This is a great cream, makes great lather and is super slick. I have both face lathered and bowl lathered with it. Face lathering with both badger and boar brushes produced ridiculous amounts of thick, slick lather. The blade just glides across my face and after rinsing my face is soft and slippery. Bowl lathering also produced a lot of thick lather. It requires more water than I thought it would but after I figured it out the results were outstanding. As far as scent goes to me it is a pleasant one. I get evergreen forest, tobacco and black pepper. The smell is not overwhelming and doesn't linger. For me this is a plus if you want a strong smelling soap or a scent that lingers look elsewhere.
