Directions: Wet your face and rub the soap over your beard generously (to dispense soap, twist the dial at the bottom of container). With a wet shave brush, build lather on your face and you're on your way to a great shave!

My favorite shaving soap
I love shaving sticks and wanted a natural option. I came across Taconic and gave it a try. This is now my favorite shave soap. It smells fantastic. The ingredients are solid. Most importantly, it's an excellent shave soap. It creates a solid lather that lasts the whole shave. Great stuff!

Works wonders
I have very sensitive skin and without this shave soap I wonder how I lived so long with out it in the past. Now a days I am able to shave comfortably and this soap is the only thing I use with a razor of course.

Like the convenience of a stick
Like the convenience of a stick, no messy liquids and good to travel with. You don't need a shaving brush, you can use you hands. Scent is fine. I will probably try other scents.

Excellent; just like the "canned"
I picked this up because it looked easier to pack. It is; and it is just as fragrant and comfortable a shave as the canned version I've used. It took a bit of adjustment to get used to applying the soap to my face, and then using the brush to lather. i was applying too much at first, and this leaves a very thick lather which does not rinse very easily. But I'm very happy with it. The stick contains less than the can, but it goes farther. Probably the same cost per shave. It did occur to me that if I only use this for holiday travel, it might last 6-7 years. Have to use it at home sometimes too.

High Quality Luxury Shave Soap
I just received my shaving soap stick and, like all the other Taconic products, this stuff is great. I like three things about it: 1) it smells great, it has a nice skin feel, and just makes the shave into a luxurious, tactile moment; 2) it is really portable, fits easily into a travel toiletry bag. It makes a hotel stay even nicer; 3) it is highly concentrated. I just rubbed the stick over my face and then used a brush to lather up. I was pleasantly surprised at how thick the lather was and how easy it was to apply. This is a quality item, made from natural ingredients by a local artisans. I'm real happy with my purchase.
