Hair soap the way it was meant to be.
Whoever wrote that it only takes a pass or two and you've got plenty of lather is correct. This soap is great! My hair feels clean but not in the stripped kind of way most commercial shampoos leave it. No itchy scalp afterwards, either. I know natural, old-fashioned soaps will turn to mush if left in a bowl or saucer and not allowed to drain and dry, but all I do is leave the bar on my open wire soap rack in the shower with the glass shower door open for a few hours, and the bar dries out fine. I haven't had any problems with it turning mushy whatsoever. Nice cinnamon spice smell as well. I plan to try the other "flavors" soon. Good stuff and American made!

In the interest of brevity, I will keep this review short and to the point. This shampoo bar has the most wonderful aroma of cinnamon and cloves, I just love it. Just a pass or two over your wet hair is enough for intense lather. Can't go wrong with this one!

Lovely product and seems to last a rather long time
This products smells wonderful and does a very good job at cleaning my hair without stripping it bare. I no longer need to condition my hair since switching to shampoo bars. My one recommendation is that you purchase a soap saver dish. This soap gets soft very quickly after exposure to water and it needs to dry out between uses or it will turn to mush.

American Crew ain't got nothing on this stuff
So I have been into this whole manventure into non standard self care products...actually, I've been feeling kind of down (- man points for admitting) so I have been trying out new ways to pamper myself, ya know, DE razors, brush shaving, old time skin care etc. and came across this shampoo. Sounded completely interesting, and for under 10 bucks.... Here is the deal, I actually love this. I have been an American Crew guy for years now, and this has an interesting Clove and Orange scent, I guess they call that Bay Rum, but I've never smelled bay rum. Lathers great, leaves hair feeling clean and soft. Not that coated quick shampoo conditioner combo fake soft, like really soft, how hair should feel soft. I cut little chunks off about a square inch at a time. Last just as long as my 20.00 American Crew bottle, and I know what everything in this is. Hope they keep making this, cause it's now my favorite shampoo.
