Qualified "I love it" gift for my son.
This is a qualified "I love it!" as it is a gift for my son, who hasn't used it yet. That said, the brush is very hefty, well balanced, very attractive, and very nicely packaged. It appears to be of very high quality. It also appears that I used the word "very" too much in this review, but there you have it. Very pleased, so far, I am.

Great Value
This Best Badger Shaving Brush by Parker is an excellent buy for the price. It is heavy and well-made. Lather explodes off the bristles and promotes a nice close shave. Get rid of the chemical goop you use and use shaving soaps or cream lathered on by a good quality shaving brush and you will marvel at the difference-even if you are still using the cartridge type razors instead of a straight razor or double edge razor. Just a heads up though, the brush will have a slight odor (it is badger hair after all), which will go away after a week or so. The brush will be stiff at first. And, it will lose some bristles, but that will get better after a few weeks. If you want a quality badger hair brush that usually goes for $50 of more, buy this one.
