The Parker's NEW two-piece SoloEdge Single Edge safety razor is a precision tool that will serve you well for many years and is the perfect razor for new and experienced wet shavers looking for the blade angle of a cartridge razor with the benefits of a safety razor. It's time to ditch the plastic cartridge razors and give our all metal, plastic free Parker SoloEdge a try! The highly economical blade replacements are simply double edge blades snapped in half or we recommend our pre-cut double edge half blades for ease of loading since there is no blade curvature. These are very economical, plastic free and widely available. We suggest that you try out different blades to find your own personal preference for your shave choice.

What's more, once the blade is securely *loaded in the slots, it will automatically have the perfect exposure so there is no need for any adjustment. The angle is intuitive to shave with, as it is similar to a cartridge razor angle in its design.

SoloEdge Safety Razor Benefits: Excellent weight & balance with a sleek head design for tight spots, built in efficient shaving angle, less skin irritation, economical & widely available blade replacements, eco-friendly, plastic-free razor and replacement blades.

Razor Type: Two-Piece Single Edge Safety Razor

Weight: 94 g (3.3 oz.)

Length: 9.8 cm (3.9 in.)

Blade Type: Half of a Double Edge Blade

Material: Solid Brass Handle with an electroplated satin chrome finish (head is molded from a metallic alloy and chrome plated)

**100 Parker Premium Platinum Pre-cut Half Blades Included** Depending upon how often you shave, this could be approximately six months to a year's worth of shaves! If you'd like to try other brands of half DE blades, check out our selection here.

BLADE LOADING INSTRUCTIONS (see instructional video in the videos tab)

1. Twist the handle to unscrew the top cap of the razor. Please note that this is a two-piece razor, so the safety bar plate is an integral part of the handle.
2. After unscrewing the top cap, hold the razor straight (vertically) and *load the blade, ensuring that the two slots on each end of the safety bar plate hold the blade securely. The blade edges are sharp, so please handle with care.
3. Keep the razor straight and load the top cap again (twist the handle to screw the top cap back on). It is easiest to keep the blade secured by using one hand with a pinching grip to hold the top cap in place, while tightening the handle with your other hand. Once the handle stops rotating, check that the blade is secured, and the handle is tightened. Enjoy a close and comfortable shave!

*Note that there is now a 2.5 mm magnet built into the razor head that helps make blade loading even easier.

Need a travel case? The Parker LP3 leather safety razor case will protect your razor on the go.

If looking for a small stand, our 80 mm Curved Chrome Safety Razor Stand or the Goodfellas' smile stainless steel safety razor stand will hold this razor pefectly!

Parker Soloedge Single Edge Safety Razor

3 face shaves and 1 head shave and I'm very impressed. Easily loaded, easily rinses and easily cleaned after shave is done. The shaving angle is so intuitive that I can get a great shave without injuries while half asleep, so this makes a great on the run shaver. Pleasingly mild yet highly efficient. A 2 pass BBS shave is no problem. High quality build and looks great as specially for the price. Would highly recommend this razor. Exceptionally pleased with this purchase. In comparison with 11 other SE razors that I own, this rates as #2 for me.

    I DON'T LIKE - I LOVE IT

Posted by Didier (Style4men.ca) on Apr 4th 2024

Parker Razor recently launched their latest addition to the family, the Solo Edge. This instrument is a single edge razor. As of late, the popularity of single edge safety razor has benifited from a renewed enthusiasm in the wet shaving community. And for good reasons, it's the closest thing to a straight edge shave. Simple and effecient! I have been using it exclusively since I got it last week and just love it. The weight, the handle, the simplicity of loading the blade, the shave, the ease of rinsing in between passes... @parkersafetyrazor totally nailed it with this one. ♤

    Just try it!!!

Posted by Barba Tradicional on Apr 2nd 2024

My honest opinion is that it is a great razor! I easily found the angle, I appreciate the fact we can use a DE blade in it. The level of efficiency was great, yet not aggressive or overly dangerous to use. Comfortable shave. The razor looks badass on that finish, and awesome design. I feel that people will at first just need to be focused on learning how to load it and how to better hold the cap and razor. Since all 1 or 2 piece razors you screw the bottom and the handle is fixed with the head, people may be used to not having the head moving but... when you load and get through it once or twice, you get the hang of it and that's behind. Besides, it comes with a 100 blades and the price is very reasonable. Must try! And makes for an amazing gift as well

I have a total of 19 different razors. This was definitely so atrocious that I gave it away after one shave.

This razor has worked better than I anticipated. The angle, simulating a cartridge razor, has a lot to do with it. Likewise the weight of the handle. In any case, a couple of passes usually do as good a job as my usual double edges, which I've been using for a long time. One negative is that using split double edge blades not are not Parker's do not seem to do as well, even though I generally prefer them. The other thing is that one has to be careful that the blade is well aligned inside the razor to avoid nicks. The system is made to do that, but it is not fail-safe.

    Parker SoloEdge SE Safety Razor

Posted by Matthew on Mar 29th 2024

This is a wonderful product, and is exactly as advertised! I have a SoloEdge without the magnet that helps hold the blade in place as you secure the head, and I've personally had no trouble dropping the blade or getting it to stay straight. It's load, and the way the head connects to the handle and screws downward to lock in place is perfect. The blade is firmly secure with excellent exposure. The angle is certainly advantageous, but it takes a while to get used to. I'm used to using a DE razor where I have to adjust the angle and pitch by the way I hold it. Here, there is no need. However, a drawback to this is if you want, or need to reorient the blade, your options are limited--but this hasn't been an issue. Since I also use a shavette, I have boxes of SE blades in my collection, and didn't need any more. I explained this to Super Safety Razors in my order form, and asked if I could replace their bundled 100 blade pack with a blade bank. They sent the blade bank instead of the 100 blade pack, but also threw in a 5 blade pack of DE blades, which I use with my DE razor. This was great service by Super Safety Razors, and I plan to continue to use them for blades and other things moving forward.

I have tried a few other safety razors such as the ones from Rockwell, Henson, and the Leaf. But for one reason or another, I was not fully satified with them. Enter the Parker SoloEdge. I just may have found the perfect solution to my shaving needs. Get this razor, you will not be disappointed. And on a side note. If you have any problems with your order, speak with Nancy. This razor is great, I like the weight and it delivers a close shave. I have used a Feather blade in it so far, I have not tried the supplied half blades yet.
