    Parker 29L

I bought this for my wife after she saw how much I was saving since switching to straight razor from disposables. I gave it to her and she shaved first night. She said she has never had a closer shave. And she’s loving the savings too. I mean ever buying razor 100 blades I will not have spent as much as buying a replacement pack on blades at Sam’s for Venus 5. Not to mention once I have to buy another hundred blades I will have saved 100’s. When my daughter starts shaving soon she will be getting a Parker 29L also. And I might just buy 2 as I have another daughter who will be starting to shave in next few years. These razors will allow me to retire and not continue to work til I keel over

The only razor I'll use for the rest of my life.

I am so glad I found this razor. I only wish I would have found it sooner. I recently read an article that stated any razor with more than one blade was a marketing gimmick. The article continued by explaining that all you need is one blade to effectively shave and any more than that can irritate the skin and be super drying. I am also very mindful about being environmentally friendly and reducing waste. This is the best solution for shaving not only for the environment but also for my pocket book. I did cut myself a couple of times but the cuts were only minor and I know I'll get used to using this razor. The bottom of the handle twists and that's how the top opens and closes so you can replace the razor blade. The razor also comes with 5 blades in a package with each blade wrapped in paper. This is a very environmentally friendly product but it also looks nice and I love the color. Thank you!

The fit and finish of this razor is nice, it is nice and smooth when closed. If you have never tried shaving with a safety razor make this your first one.

    Great shaver

Love my razor, the shaver is durable and of high quality. The shaver gives you a good close shave and it beats constantly buying disposables.

    Glad I switched

This is a very nice razor. Gives close shave, easy to clean and well-made. Arrived in timely manner and was reasonably priced. Glad to be rid of disposable razors that don't offer as good a shave and create more plastic waste.

    It's great, I don't know how.

I don't know how, but I sliced my thumb open upon first fiddling with it. I do wish there was some kind of bumper at the sides, because although the sides of the blade are not sharpened, they can hurt, and give you pretty unattractive scrapes when shaving in delicate corners. This seems obvious now, but on my husband's old Safety Razor, you twisted the head to open it up, and I had a good fight with this pink one at first trying to rip its head off. ...you twist the BOTTOM little dingy of the handle. Like, that's not just a pretty accent. As blatant as it is, I wish there was ANYthing about that in the paper that came with it, the product page... anywhere. Just a little drawing. Anyway, the grips are grippier than I'd expected, a very good thing. Another airheaded shaving tip: don't push down extra hard if you are shaving an extra itchy spot. That will take a nice bacon-strip of skin off. Leaving on a positive note, and my most relieving fact: it has not slivered my nethers. I can even shave against the grain, and no damage! It's amazing!
