Compact & Attractive
I was pleased that this stand is small but held my new women's Parker long handled safety razor perfectly. Doesn't take up much room, and is very sturdy. I don't worry about it falling over at all. It's just a nice, attractive piece that allows my razor to dry. Simple, classic, and unisex.

Simple, but works great.
A year ago I got back to wet shaving using a Merkur 34C HD which is a closed comb. One year later I was given a Muhle R41 open comb for Father's day, so I was in need of a stand to rest the new razor on. This one works perfect for the Muhle with a handle which is 3 3/8 inches long. The Merkur 34C HD with a length of 3 inches barely fits. You really should have at least a 3 1/4 inch handle for it to fit properly. The craftsmanship and finish are excellent for this stand.
