Razor blade
Took a little bit of getting used to… but definitely worth the buy. I have sensitive skin and haven’t gotten razor burn since switching away from multi blade cartridge razors.

What a great shave. The blade gap might look big to the eyes, but there is not much exposure. So you get a clog-free shave and butter smooth, on lower settings you barely feel the blade but the razor is doing it's job. Adjustable from mild to a bit aggressive (not too aggressive though). For the price is even an amazing deal!

Seems to do very well. The adjustment is just a loosening process. It is hard to see the numbers on the razor. Only negative.

Excellent razor.
Excellent fit and finish. The black handle is nice contrast to the matte head finish. Good weight and balance. I use a 3 setting for the first pass and 2 for passes two and three. Quick and easy to adjust. SSR's service always first rate!

Parker Variant best adjustable razor
I've used safety razors for over 50 years. After using the Parker Variant for over a month, I can say that it is the best safety razor I've ever used. I chose the graphite model as it most closely resembled the 1970s era Gillette "Super-84" Adjustable razor I used to use. But the resemblance ends with the color. At 110 grams, the Parker Variant is heavier than the 67 gm Gillette---allowing you to press less hard and letting the razor do more of the work. The longer handle provides more control than the Gillette Super Adjustable. Parker variant adjustable razor
First adjustable I've owned, well made has a very nice weight and balance. All shaves so far have been very nice. Once I become used to this razor I'll try different settings.

This is probably the best razor i have tried. The razor shaves wonderfully with the minimum of effort, and there is nice weight, and the knurling on the handle is very good. I thoroughly recommend this product
